HERE IS WHAT MY FAMILIES SAY...

" Both babies only wake once or twice in the night and these are wakes for feeds which is a completely acceptable reason to wake!"

At around 6 months we were having quite a few challenges with sleep around false starts, early waking and around 8-10 wakes per night! I was also doing every nap in the buggy on a walk.  Since working with Michelle we have removed the dummy for naps and at bedtime.  Both have become brilliant at being put down awake for naps and bedtime and are happy to drift off with minimal help from us.

We have so much more confidence in our approach and feel we can tackle the various developmental phases, teething, illness etc and the impact they have on sleep. We have a much clearer expectation of what is normal for baby sleep which has helped us not worry about or dwell on bumps in the road. I was adamant before the course that both babies would never sleep in a cot, would need to be rocked or fed to sleep and could never give up the dummy.

I think what surprised me the most about the results is that we were able to achieve all these things without the babies realising anything had changed. We never once let them cry and the changes were so subtle and gradual that it didn't feel like a huge effort on our part. To anyone considering joining the programme I'd definitely recommend it as it's given us knowledge, confidence and ongoing support - and given us our evenings back!

"Within the space of a few weeks our daughter was no longer fed to sleep and would fall asleep happily in her cot. She can now be in the cot all night with very few wake ups."

We contacted Michelle when our daughter was 16 months old. She religiously fed to sleep and would never sleep in her cot meaning we would bedshare to maximise sleep. Cot transfers were a nightmare and there were many wake ups throughout the night.  Within the space of a few weeks our daughter was no longer fed to sleep and would fall asleep happily in her cot. She can now be in the cot all night with very few wake ups. We used very gentle methods and were able to go at a pace which best suited our needs.

The program Michelle put together clearly identified how little tweaks can make a big difference. She is very supportive, empathetic and knowledgeable about the science of sleep, which gave each step some important context. It's great to finally be able to enjoy the evenings without tending to the baby! I would highly recommend Michelle's program if your little one's sleep pattern is not sustainable and you would like to make gentle, considered changes to improve their sleep.

Rebecca and Serena (16 months)

"After just a few weeks on this programme and in our new home, our daughter had managed to sleep through in her cot a couple of times and sleep independently most nights."

We are first time parents with an 11 month old daughter, who has co-slept since 3 months
and has never slept independently outside her car seat. We approached Michelle on a recommendation as it was coming up to the end of maternity leave and full co-sleeping was becoming unsustainable for us with multiple night wakes.    We found Michelle’s approach simple to follow with our style of parenting taken into account. Suggestions were made which we implemented over a few weeks, small tweaks to bedtime and naps, which definitely had an impact, and I feel that the biggest change was my husband taking over bedtime and night wakes for a couple of weeks after moving her into her own room and cot.

Of course it is a work in progress and we will start working on less support to sleep, but we know Michelle will be there to help us all the way. We’ve felt such relief to have evenings to ourselves and she’s sleeping well for the most part. It’s been brilliant to have the personal support and guidance of Michelle and I’d highly recommend this option to any parent needing a bit of support along the journey or who is reaching the end of their tethers! Holistic Sleep Coach

"I am passionate about empowering and helping exhausted sleep deprived parents to take them from a place of struggling to a place of thriving."

I am a Mum to three boys and when I became a Mum I realised how much sleep (or lack of it) can affect the whole family. I know first-hand what it feels like to be sleep deprived and in survival mode. All the advice I was given was to use controlled crying or ‘cry it out’  but this went against my natural parenting instincts.

As a pharmacist with a strong scientific background I set out to learn all I could around the areas of infant brain development and the science of sleep. I discovered that there are gentle alternative methods to helping your child sleep which do not harm child attachment and connection. The impact on our family was profound and I am now passionate about helping children to sleep well using gentle methods.

After many years working as a community pharmacist, I completed the Holistic Sleep Coaching qualification which has given me the evidence-based foundations of sleep science and gentle, responsive sleep strategies. I have a non-judgemental, down to earth and friendly approach focusing on your family and your sleep goals.

I love helping families solve their child’s sleep issues step-by-step, helping them become the best sleepers they can be. With better sleep, families can enjoy life more and parents get the rest and downtime they so desperately need.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You will be sent your log in details to access the course and start watching the videos straight away. You will also be sent information about joining the private Facebook group as well as links to access the weekly coaching calls.

I do not advocate ‘cry it out’ or controlled crying in any of my sleep strategies. Your baby will always feel supported and never left alone to cry. Having said that, crying is your baby’s main way of communicating and protesting change so crying can happen.

I have completed the Holistic Sleep Coaching Program which is the most comprehensive training available in the UK through the Open College Network. This thorough training at degree level includes sessions led by world leaders in the field of infant care including a Paediatrician, Occupational Therapist, Allergy Specialist, Doctor, Dietician, Health Visitors and International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. Topics covered include allergy, autism, nutrition, anxiety, mental health, SIDS and mulitiples.

All families are different and whilst some will see improvements very quickly for other families it will take a bit longer. Most families begin to see changes within the first week or two. Also remember that you will need dedication, consistency and patience whilst going through this process.

You will always have the option of submitting your questions before the call and I will answer them on the call for you to watch back on the video. All coaching calls will be recorded and available on the platform.

We also have the private facebook group where you can ask your quick questions for me to answer and where you will have support from other families on a similar journey.

Just that! You will be able to access the course content forever. If you have more children, you will be able to come back and do the course again if you would like to. You are also welcome to attend the coaching calls at anytime up until the content of this course is no longer applicable to you child (up to 20months). I intend to create future courses for older children 2 years+.

What you will learn on this course will certainly be useful to your friends but the videos and coaching calls are exclusively for people who have signed up to the course.
